GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The United States Coral Reef Task Force (USCRTF) was established to lead U.S. efforts to preserve and protect coral reef ecosystems by helping build partnerships, strategies and support for on-the-ground action to conserve coral reefs. The 38th Bi-Annual USCRTF Business Meeting on Friday, August 11th, will provide an opportunity to hear reports on the status of Florida’s ongoing coral reef initiatives and research in local areas, as well as allow for public comment regarding the U.S. and Florida’s coral reefs and their conservation. The theme of this year’s meeting is Healthy Reefs for a Healthy Economy.
