    State Plan Amendment

    The Agency for Health Care Administration is requesting an amendment to the Medicaid State Plan. The amendment updates buy-back provisions for Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities and establishes a new level of reimbursement for Medicaid eligible individuals residing in or seeking admission to an Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities who have severe behavioral needs as authorized in the General Appropriations Act for State Fiscal Year 2020-2021, and makes technical and editorial changes. This amendment to the State Plan will have a federal fiscal impact with an expected increase of $5,773,232 in federal funds for federal fiscal year (FFY) 2019-20 and an increase of $17,319,695 in federal funds for FFY 2020-21. The effective date for this amendment will be July 1, 2020.
