    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purpose of this rule development is to conform to new provisions of Section 1002.45, Florida Statutes, which was amended during the 2013 Legislative Session. The effect will be the alignment of laws related to the approval of virtual instruction providers.

    SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: Amendments to this rule and the application, which is incorporated by reference, specifically address adding a component for conditional approval to the provider approval process and revisions to the qualifications for potential part-time virtual instruction providers.
