DATE AND TIME: Tuesday, June 13, 2017, 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District One, is holding a public information meeting regarding improvements to the Circus Drawbridge in Venice, Florida. The public meeting is from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at the Venice Community Center, 326 S Nokomis Avenue, Venice, Florida 34285. FDOT will hold this meeting to give interested persons the opportunity to talk one-on-one with staff and make comments about the project.

The project includes bridge (structural steel) painting, mechanical equipment improvements, spall repairs, and bridge deck and sidewalk replacement. The $2.7 million project begins late June/early July and completion expected in fall 2017.
