GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is holding a Community Working Groups meeting on Thursday, June 8 at 5:30 p.m. Due to strong interest in participation, we have changed the location of the Downtown Community Working Group to Centro Asturiano de Tampa, 1913 N. Nebraska Avenue, Tampa, FL 33602, directly across the street from the Children’s Board of Hillsborough County.

The group discussions include topics such as multi-modal transportation and evaluating infrastructure improvements in the context of a comprehensive regional transportation system.

To ensure a cross section of the community is represented, Community Working Group members were selected from within the community including individual citizens, neighborhood/HOA association representatives, civic and faith-based leaders, small business owners and business leaders, among others. The Community Working Group is open to the public. At the end of the workshop, time will be allotted for public comment. Comments may also be received through a written format to Madeline.Pfingsten@dot.state.fl.us.
