PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The Department intends to amend Rule 65C-30.002, F.A.C. Safety Planning and Case Transfer, to address ongoing safety plan development. Section 39.012, F.S., requires the Department to adopt rules for the management of all programs, services, and functions necessary to implement Chapter 39, Proceedings Related to Children. The safety plan is created to control present or impending danger using the least intrusive means appropriate to protect a child in in-home or out-of-home care, and is required by s. 39.301, F.S.
