The Florida Department of Transportation announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

    DATE AND TIME: June 16, 2015, 4:00 p.m.6:00 p.m.

PLACE: Beauty and More parking lot, 925 15th Street East, Bradenton, Florida

GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is designing improvements for the Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue (9th Avenue East) and 15th Street East intersection. The primary purpose of this project is to improve traffic flow and provide safe pedestrian access along both corridors. FDOT will consider two designs. One design includes new left turn lanes on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue onto 15th Street East. The other design considers a roundabout at this intersection. Both options require right-of-way acquisition.

FDOT will hold this meeting to give interested people the opportunity to review displays and talk one-on-one with staff. For motorists on the go they can drive by the tent and receive project information without leaving their car.
