The Florida Department of Transportation announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.
DATE AND TIME: June 16, 2017, 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
PLACE: Plant City Hall - Nettie Berry Draughon Municipal Building, 302 W. Reynolds Street, Plant City, FL 33563.
GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The public hearing is being offered in accordance with Section 335.02 and 335.0415, Florida Statutes, to obtain public input concerning the proposed roadway jurisdiction transfer of existing SR 39 (Collins and Wheeler Streets) from Alexander Street to Interstate 4 to the Plant City Road System; and jurisdiction transfer of Alexander Street from J. L. Redman Parkway to Interstate 4 to the State Highway System; with re-designation of SR 39 road number to Alexander Street from J.L. Redman Parkway to Interstate 4.
All persons wishing to be heard on this subject are hereby notified to respond in writing to the individual listed below not later than Monday, June 14, 2017. If no public interest in convening a hearing is expressed, the hearing will not be held. Public hearings must be in compliance with Titles VI and VIII of the Civil Rights Act, and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability or family status. Persons who require special accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act or persons who require translation service (free of charge) should contact Mr. B. C.
