65D-30.0141Needs Assessment for Medication-Assisted Treatment for Opioid Use Disorders
The Department of Children and Families hereby gives notice:
An order has been issued disposing of the petition for waiver of subsection 65D-30.0141(2), Florida Administrative Code, from Metro Treatment of Florida, L.P. as it pertains to a location in Ocala. The Notice of Variances and Waivers was published in Volume 49, No. 58 of the Florida Administrative Register on March 24, 2023. Subsection 65D-30.0141(2) requires awarded applicants to receive at least a probationary license within two (2) years of receipt of an award letter connected to their Methadone Medication-Assisted Treatment Application to Proceed to Licensure Application. If an applicant fails to obtain a probationary license within the specified time, the Department shall rescind the award.
The petition for variance was granted because Petitioner demonstrated a substantial hardship and that the underlying purpose of the statute will be achieved.
