NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on June 25, 2013, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for Hamlet @ Poinciana. Petitioner seeks an emergency temporary variance of the requirements of ASME A17.3, Section 3.11.3 , as adopted by SUBSECTION 61C-5.001(1), Florida Administrative Code that requires upgrading the elevators with firefighters’ emergency operations which poses a significant economic/financial hardship. Any interested person may file comments within 5 days of the publication of this notice with Mark Boutin, Bureau of Elevator Safety, 1940 North Monroe Street, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-1013 (VW2013-206).
