    PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

    REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

     

    The State of Florida, Department of Military Affairs (DMA), Construction & Facility Management Office (CFMO) requests qualifications from State of Florida registered and licensed Design Build firm for the design & construction of the (CST) Ready Building, located @ Pinellas Park. FL.

    PROJECT: 120195 – CST Ready Building, Pinellas Park , FL

     

    FUNDING: The State of Florida's performance and obligation to pay under this contract is contingent upon availability of funding and an annual appropriation by the Legislature.

     

    QUALIFICATION PACKAGE DUE DATE: As stated on the Vendor Bid System (late submissions after stated date will not be accepted)

    After review of Qualification Packages, short-listed firms will be posted on Vendor Bid System.

     

    STATEMENT OF WORK: Construct an approximate 15,000 square foot Ready Building, a specially designed ready building of permanent construction, with standing seam metal roof system structure with mechanical and electrical equipment. Construction also to include all utility services, information systems , fire detection and alarm systems, access control, roads, walks, curbs, gutters, storm drainage, privately-owned vehicle parking, security fencing, sidewalks, and exterior site lighting, ATFP, and site improvements, detached facility sign, and flagpole. Facility will be designed & constructed to a minimum life of 50 Years and energy efficiencies meeting on average (ASHRAE) 189.1 standards through improved building envelope and integrated building systems performance. Cost effective energy conserving features are incorporated into the design, including energy management control systems and high efficiency motors, lighting, and HVAC systems, and will need to meet LEED Silver certification. This building will be designed and constructed to meet Industry standards as well as local, State, and Federal Building code requirements.

     

    The Department reserves the right to reject any and all submissions or accept minor irregularities in the best interest of the DMA.
