NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Board of Cosmetology has issued an order disposing of the petition for declaratory statement filed by Tracey Carter on June 19, 2020. The following is a summary of the agency's disposition of the petition: On December 30, 2019, the Petitioner inquired regarding her qualification for exemption from licensure allowing her to obtain her license from the Board of Cosmetology for Eyelash Technician. The Notice of Petition for Declaratory Statement was published in Vol. 45, No. 11, on January 16, 2020, in the Florida Administrative Register. The Board, at its publicly noticed telephonic meeting held on April 20, 2020, declined to issue a declaratory statement in response to Petition 2019-082, because Petitioner failed to demonstrate that she is a substantially affected person before the Board of Cosmetology under the facts outlined and subsection 120 565(1), Florida Statutes.
