The Board of Medicine hereby gives notice: that on June 26, 2013, an Order was filed on the Petition for Waiver or Variance. The Petition for Waiver or Variance was filed by S. Raja Sekharan, M.D., on April 24, 2013, seeking a waiver from Rule 64B8-2.001, F.A.C., with regard to the requirement for the passing score on the FLEX examination. The Notice was published in Volume 39, No. 82, of the Florida Administrative Register, on April 26, 2013. The Board, at its meeting held on June 7, 2013, voted to deny the Petition for Waiver or Variance finding that the Petitioner failed to demonstrate that he has met the purpose of the underlying statute.
