    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purpose of new Rule 59G-4.120, F.A.C., is to incorporate by reference the Florida Medicaid Statewide Inpatient Psychiatric Program Coverage and Limitations Handbook, __________. The incorporated handbook will specify provider qualifications, coverage and limitation policies, recipient eligibility and admission criteria, and reimbursement information for the Statewide Inpatient Psychiatric Program.

    SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: Statewide Inpatient Psychiatric Program.

    An additional area to be addressed during the workshop will be the potential regulatory impact the amendment to Rule 59G-4.120, F.A.C., will have as provided for under Sections 120.54 and 120.541, Florida Statutes.

    59G-4.120 Statewide Inpatient Psychiatric Program.

    (1) This rule applies to all providers of the Statewide Inpatient Psychiatric Program who are enrolled in the Florida Medicaid program.

    (2) All providers of the Statewide Inpatient Psychiatric Program must be in compliance with the provisions of the Florida Medicaid Statewide Inpatient Psychiatric Program Coverage and Limitations Handbook, __________, incorporated by reference. The handbook is available on the Medicaid fiscal agent’s Web site at www.mymedicaid-florida.com. Select Public Information for Providers, then Provider Support, and then Provider Handbooks.

    (3) The following forms are included in the Florida Medicaid Statewide Inpatient Psychiatric Program Coverage and Limitations Handbook and are incorporated by reference: Referral for Statewide Inpatient Psychiatric Program, AHCA Form - _____,_______; Individual Critical Incident Report, AHCA Form - _____,_______.
