    The Florida Department of Transportation announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

    DATE AND TIME: Thursday, July 23, 2015, 4:30 p.m. 6:30 p.m.

    PLACE: Keiser University, 6151 Lake Osprey Dr., Sarasota

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Florida Department of Transportation invites you to attend a meeting to provide details on the upcoming construction project at I-75 and University Parkway, in Sarasota and Manatee Counties, Florida. Improvements being made as part of this project consist of constructing a Diverging Diamond Interchange, adding an auxiliary lane on northbound and southbound I-75, new bridges on I-75 over University Pkwy., widening of University Pkwy., widening of I-75 bridges over Erie Creek and Foley creek, realignment of on- and off ramps at I-75 / University Pkwy., ponds and drainage improvements, new lighting and signalization, construction of a noise wall on the west side of I-75, sidewalks, bike lanes, and pedestrian walkways. An animation of the project design will be available for viewing. Project staff will be present to answer questions.
