The Jacksonville Port Authority (“JPA”) would like to extend an invitation to attend an Informational Forum to learn about business opportunities regarding Management, Maintenance and Operations of a new Intermodal Container Transfer Facility (ICTF) being constructed at the Dames Point Terminal.

At the Dames Point Terminal, the JPA is developing an ICTF to facilitate the direct transfer of containers between vessels and trains. Forecast to open in a couple of years, the new ICTF will complement existing on-dock-rail access at the JPA’s Talleyrand and Blount Island terminals and will further enhance the competitiveness of the TraPac Container Terminal. This new ICTF will serve as a rail facility, providing existing and future customers with intermodal connections, including direct access to CSX Transportation (CSX) owned rail lines and U.S. Interstate System, including, I-95, I-10, I-295 and I-75 via I-10.

This Information Forum will be held on held on Thursday, July 25, 2013 starting at 10:00 a.m. through 12:00 Noon at the JAXPORT’s Cruise Terminal.

The JAXPORT Cruise Terminal is a RESTRICTED terminal and you MUST call to put your name and the name of your guests on the roster to gain access to the terminal. You can be turned away for failure to call.
