PURPOSE AND EFFECT: This rule is necessary for the administration of the Schools of Hope program established in s. 1002.333, Florida Statutes. The rule will establish the process and criteria for non-profit charter school operators to apply to the State Board of Education for the initial Hope Operator designation. Additionally, the rule will establish and incorporate a Notice of Intent form and Performance-Based Agreement form, as required in s. 1002.333, Florida Statutes, and describe the process to establish a School of Hope.
