NOTICE OF CHANGE
Notice is hereby given that the following changes have been made to the proposed rule in accordance with subparagraph 120.54(3)(d)1., F.S., published in Vol. 49 No. 124, June 27, 2023 issue of the Florida Administrative Register.
In response to public comment the rule is amended as follows to provide clarity around third-party contracts between school districts:
6A-1.0955 Education Records.
(1) No change.
(2) Definitions.
(a) though (k) No change.
(l) “Third-party vendor” or “Third-party service provider” means any entity, whether public or private, that provides services to a school board or institution through a contract or agreement. The term does not include the Florida Department of Education, or the Department’s contractors and subcontractors, and School Boards and School Districts as defined in paragraph (2)(g).
(3) through (12) No change.
