    The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

    DATE AND TIME: August 8, 2013, 6:30 p.m. - 8:30p.m.

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The purpose of this public meeting is to review and discuss possible options for developing rules to minimize the risk of chronic wasting disease (CWD) being brought into Florida. The meeting will begin with a presentation by Commission staff to share information on stakeholder outreach efforts and possible alternative solutions for minimizing the risk of CWD being brought in through the importation of live cervids (deer). Commission staff will be available to discuss options and answer questions.
