PROJECT: Lake County Schools Cypress Ridge Elementary School Cafeteria Building

Subcontractor bids are being solicited by Wharton-Smith, Inc., the Construction Manager for Lake County Schools.

The project consists of a new 14,000 SF elementary school cafeteria building. Work includes the following: Complete construction of a Cafeteria Building with pre-engineered metal building structure, brick veneer on concrete block walls and standing seam metal roof. The building will contain a kitchen, dining rooms, stage, two skills labs, restrooms and associated mechanical, electrical and storage areas. Exterior improvements include driveways, parking lot, covered walkways, fencing and storm water drainage system.  The existing cafeteria building will be demolished upon completion of the new cafeteria building.

The Pre-Bid Walk Thru will be held on July 19, 2018, 9:00 a.m. at the site (350 East Ave., Clermont, FL 34711). The RFI deadline is July 24, 2018. Please email questions to [e-mail].

Bids will be received at the offices of Wharton-Smith, Inc., 750 Monroe Rd., Sanford, FL 32771 and may be emailed to [e-mail] or faxed to [phone] before 2:00 P.M. on July 31, 2018.

Local Subcontractors & Suppliers are encouraged to participate. The Owner's ODP Plan will be in effect for this project. Payment & Performance Bonds may be required.
