NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Florida Department of Corrections has received the petition for declaratory statement from Natalie Collier. The petition seeks the agency’s opinion as to the applicability of paragraphs 33-601.724(1)(a) and 33-601.729(1)(i) of the Florida Administrative Code as it applies to the petitioner.
The petition seeks to resolve a controversy or answer questions or doubts regarding the interpretation and application of the above-mentioned rules as they relate to Petitioner’s allegation that she was denied inmate visitation because she did not and could not meet the dress requirements for visitors. Persons whose substantial interests may be affected by a declaratory statement issued in this matter may file a motion to intervene or a petition for administrative hearing within twenty-one (21) days after the publication of this notice.
