NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bureau of Emergency Medical Oversight has received the petition for declaratory statement from The Town of Jupiter Island, filed by facsimile on June 28, 2017. The petition seeks the agency’s opinion as to the applicability of Section 401.30(4) Florida Statutes, as it applies to the petitioner.
Specifically, the petition seeks an opinion regarding whether or not records of emergency calls which contain patient information or treatment information created by the petitioner’s Public Safety Department, an entity not licensed under chapter 401 part III Florida Statutes, are confidential under Section 401.30 (4) Florida Statutes. Motions to intervene or Petitions for an agency hearing must be filed within 21 days after publication of this notice.
