PURPOSE AND EFFECT: To revise certain courses contained in the Course Code Directory and Instructional Personnel Assignments for Grades K-12 to add the B.E.S.T. Standards for English Language Arts (ELA) and mathematics, and to remove the Language Arts (LAFS) and mathematics (MAFS) Florida Standards as appropriate for each grade level and course. Additionally, revised K-12 ELA and new K-12 mathematics courses will be considered.

SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: All grades K-12 subject area courses based on the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards.
