NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Physical Therapy Practice has received the petition for declaratory statement from Florida Physical Therapy Association, filed on July 10, 2013. The petition seeks the agency's opinion as to the applicability of Section 486.102(3)(a), Florida Statutes as it applies to the petitioner.

The petition seeks the Board’s interpretation of Section 486.102(3)(a), Florida Statutes, and the determination of which educational programs in Florida meet the standards set forth in Subsection 486.102(3)(a), Florida Statutes, as amended by the Legislature in 2013 by Chapter 2013- 093, Laws of Florida. The Board is scheduled to consider the Petition at its meeting currently scheduled for August 8-9, 2013.
