NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Florida Department of Corrections has issued an order disposing of the petition for declaratory statement filed by Jesse Deese, DC#L02291 on June 13, 2014. The following is a summary of the agency's disposition of the petition:

Pursuant to Section 120.81(3), Florida Statutes, the Department lacks jurisdiction to issue a declaratory statement to inmates. As an inmate of the Florida Department of Corrections, Jesse Deese, DC#L02291, may only participate in administrative proceedings pursuant to Sections 120.54(3)(c) and (7), Florida Statutes.
