    NOTICE OF CHANGE

    Notice is hereby given that the following changes have been made to the proposed rule in accordance with subparagraph 120.54(3)(d)1., F.S., published in Vol. 41 No. 136, July 15, 2015 issue of the Florida Administrative Register.

    64C-11.001 Training Standards for Law Enforcement Agencies Investigating First Responders to a Sudden Unexpected Infant Death.

    (1) For the purpose of this rule, the term “first responders” means a law enforcement officer, firefighter, emergency medical technician, paramedic, or other individual serving in similar capacity, that is the initial person at the scene of a sudden unexpected infant death.

    (2) All law enforcement agencies will provide training in first responders will complete a course of instruction that includes curriculum on investigating a case of sudden unexpected infant death using the and responding to the affected parents or caregivers.
