NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Florida Building Commission has received the petition for declaratory statement from Shamrock Pool Services, Inc. The petition seeks the agency’s opinion as to the applicability of Chapter 1 and Chapter 4, Florida Building Code 5th Edition (2014), Building as it applies to the petitioner.

Petitioner seeks clarification as to whether a permit is required when resurfacing a commercial pool or spa.
