DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONAL REGULATION
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Veterinary Medicine has received a Petition for Declaratory Statement filed by Nicole Ferguson-Morrison, on July 7, 2020. Petitioner, who is a county employee in a municipal animal shelter seeks a Declaratory Statement regarding the application of Section 474.2165, Florida Statutes. The Petitioner seeks clarification with regard to the public records status of veterinary medical records created in the course of normal veterinary medicine business. The Board will consider this petition at its meeting currently scheduled for September 11, 2020. Except for good cause shown, motions for leave to intervene must be filed within 21 days after publication of this notice.
