    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on June 29, 2009, the Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for a permanent variance from Rules 2.20.4, 2.20.9 and 2.24.2, ASME A17.1, 2005 as adopted by Chapter 3001.2 as adopted by paragraph 61C-5.001(1)(a), F.A.C., which requires steel suspension ropes, wedge shackles with non-welded terminations and grooved sheaves of a minimum pitch. The request was submitted by Richard Dolson of Otis Elevator on behalf of Salvador Dali Museum (VW 2009-247).
