    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) invites the community to a public hearing about proposed safety improvements to the US 301 at Haben Boulevard intersection. The proposed improvements include:

    • Extending the left turn lanes on US 301 to 9th Avenue East and 16th Avenue East

    • Closing median openings between 9th Avenue East and Haben Boulevard and between Haben Boulevard and 15th Avenue Drive East

    This hearing consists of an open house from 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., allowing people time to view displays, ask questions, and discuss the work one-on-one with members of the project team. There will be a brief audio-visual presentation about the project at 5:30 p.m. followed by a public comment period. Following, the open house will continue until 7:00 p.m.
