FLORIDA CATEGORICAL EXCLUSION NOTICE (FCEN)
JACKSON COUNTY UTILITIES
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has determined that the Jackson County Utilities project of designing and constructing approximately 23,000 linear feet of water mains, fire hydrants and water service lines with connections to 125 existing residences in the Indian Springs subdivision is not expected to generate controversy over potential environmental effects. The estimated construction cost is $1,248,000. The project may qualify for a Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) loan composed of federal and state funds. DEP will consider public comments about the environmental impacts of the proposed project that are postmarked or delivered at the address below within 30 days of this notice.
