Electrical Contractors' Licensing Board

The Electrical Contractors’ Licensing Board hereby gives notice: that on June 11, 2019, an Order was filed on the Petition for Variance or Wavier. The Petition was filed by Daniel Scroggins, on April 4, 2019, seeking a variance or waiver of Rule 61G6-6.017, Florida Administrative Code, in order for Petitioner to obtain a Certified Specialty Sign Contractor License. The Notice of Petition for Variance of Wavier was published in Vol. 45, No. 71, on April 11, 2019, in the Florida Administrative Register.

The Board, at its meeting held on May 16-17, 2019, voted to grant the Petition for Variance or Wavier finding that Petitioner demonstrated that application of the rule would violate the principle of fairness; and that the purpose of the underlying statute has been met.
