64B9-3.002 Qualifications for Examination
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on June 07, 2023, the Board of Nursing, received a petition for variance or waiver filed by Nancy Elwell. Petitioner requests a variance or waiver from subsection 64B9-3.002(2), F.A.C., which states in part that the qualifications for examination for graduates of an approved nursing program include a notice of graduation or of completion of the requirements for graduation. Petitioner is also seeking a waiver from subsection 64B9-3.002(3), F.A.C., which states in part, for an applicant writing the examination for practical nurses on the basis of practical nursing education equivalency, a completed Practical Nurse Equivalence (PNEQ) Application Letter or an official certified transcript which sets forth graduation from an approved professional program is required.
