Project Description: District Five Truck Parking Study – Phase 1
The Florida Department of Transportation is conducting a districtwide Truck Parking Study to address the shortage of available truck parking spaces, identify solutions that will support truck drivers, and plan for the anticipated need over the next 10 to 20 years. As part of this study, one of the objectives is to identify issues and trends facing truck drivers and to help identify how tractor-trailer truck parking is currently being addressed off of the interstate highway system. The District Five study area includes Brevard, Flagler, Lake, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Sumter, and Volusia Counties.
Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability or family status.
