    RULE NO.:RULE TITLE:

    61G4-16.009Examination and Reexamination

The Construction Industry Licensing Board hereby gives notice: of the issuance of an Order regarding the Petition for Variance or Waiver, filed on April 30, 2018, by Christopher Beck. The Notice of Petition for Waiver or Variance was published in Vol. 44, No. 90, of the May 8, 2018, Florida Administrative Register. Petitioner sought a waiver or variance of Rule 61G4-19.009, F.A.C., regarding the requirement that all portions of the exam must be completed in 4 years of the first attempt. The Board considered the instant Petition at a duly-noticed public meeting held on June 15, 2018, in Champions Gate, Florida. The Board’s Order, filed on June 29, 2018, denied the request for a waiver because Petitioner did not demonstrate that the purpose of the underlying statute will be or has been achieved by other means or how application of the rule creates a substantial hardship or violates principles of fairness.
