    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) Minimum Flows and Levels (MFLs) for the Chassahowitzka and Homosassa River Systems became effective on March 20, 2013 in subsections 40D-8.041(16) and 40D-8.041(17), F.A.C. On March 28, 2013, the Department received a request for hearing under section 373.114(2)(a), F.S. In accordance with section 373.114(2), F.S., the Department initiated a review of the aforementioned SWFWMD rules for consistency with the Water Resource Implementation Rule (Ch. 62-40, F.A.C.) and will hold a public hearing at which any affected person may present evidence and argument as to whether subsections 40D-8.041(16) and 40D-8.041(17), F.A.C., are or are not consistent with Ch. 62-40, F.A.C.
