NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY
FLORIDA CATEGORICAL EXCLUSION NOTICE
GASPARILLA ISLAND WATER ASSOCIATION, INC.
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has determined that the Gasparilla Island Water Association project involving the construction of two new wells and 4,800 linear feet of water distribution piping, as well as upgrades to three Reverse Osmosis membrane skids, and modifications to their water treatment plant is not expected to generate controversy over potential environmental effects. The total estimated construction cost is $3,300,000. The project may qualify for a Drinking Water State Revolving Fund loan composed of federal and state funds. DEP will consider public comments about the environmental impacts of the proposed project that are postmarked or delivered at the address below within 30 days of this notice.
