NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on July 19, 2016, the Board of Physical Therapy Practice received a petition for a variance or waiver of paragraph 64B17-3.003(2)(a), F.A.C., filed by Fahed Mehyar, which requires a foreign educated applicant have education credentials determined by an appropriate accrediting agency recognized by the Commission on Recognition of Postsecondary Accreditation or the United States Department of Education to be equivalent to educational requirements for licensure as a physical therapist in the United States.
