    6A-1.094224Uniform Assessment Calendar Requirements

    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: To revise language in the incorporated uniform assessment calendar template that is no longer applicable. The passage of House Bill 7069, which went into effect on July 1, 2017, amended s. 1012.34, Florida Statutes, to make the use of Florida’s Value-Added Measure (VAM) optional for the purposes of teacher evaluation. The template is, therefore, being amended to remove “teacher evaluation” as a required use of the statewide, standardized assessments; to ensure the template accurately reflects current purposes, required uses, and statutory citations for the statewide, standardized assessments; and to remove footnotes that pertain only to specific assessments and not to the blank template.
