GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED AT THE HEARING:
The purpose of this hearing is for the Commission to determine whether it is in the public interest to approve, approve with modification, or deny the transmission and distribution storm protection plans submitted pursuant to Section 366.96, Florida Statutes (F.S.), and Rule 25-6.030, Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C.), by Tampa Electric Company, Duke Energy Florida, LLC, Gulf Power Company, and Florida Power & Light Company. The Commission may also consider any motions or other matters that may be pending at the time of the hearing. The Commission may rule on any such motions from the bench or may take the matters under advisement. This proceeding shall: (1) allow the parties to present evidence and testimony in support of their positions; and (2) allow for such other purposes as the Commission may deem appropriate.
All witnesses shall be subject to cross-examination at the conclusion of their testimony. This proceeding will be governed by Chapter 366 in addition to Chapter 120, F.S., Chapters 25-22, 28-106, and 28-109, F.A.C., and Rule 25-6.030, F.A.C.
