    The Florida Department of Transportation announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The FDOT design for resurfacing US 41 from Browning Street to 11th Street in Sarasota is underway. During design, FDOT reviewed traffic information for the corridor and determined that a northbound right-turn lane is needed to help with traffic flow from Gulfstream Avenue to Fruitville Road. To construct the right-turn lane, a traffic separator will be constructed from Gulfstream Avenue to south of Fruitville Road, a distance of approximately 1,200 feet. Construction of the traffic separator will eliminate:

    •Left-turn movements from US 41 onto side streets and driveways

    •Left-turn movements from side streets and driveways onto US 41 in this area.
