NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on July 11, 2011, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for Southern Breeze Gardens. Petitioner seeks an emergency variance of the requirements of ASME A17.1, Section 211.3b and 101.5b, as adopted by Chapter 30, Section 3001.2 Florida Building Code, adopted by paragraph 61C-5.001(1)(a), Florida Administrative Code, that requires ventilation of and a smoke detector in the machine room which poses a significant economic/financial hardship.
