    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Public Hearing is on the proposed improvements to Port St. Lucie Boulevard from Becker Road to Darwin Boulevard. The improvements consist of widening Port St. Lucie Boulevard from two to four lanes with a four-foot-wide bicycle lane and eight-foot wide sidewalk on each side.

    This Public Hearing is being conducted to give interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the location, conceptual design, and social, economic, and environmental effects of the proposed improvements. Draft project documents will be available for public review from July 9, 2014 to August 11, 2014 on the project website (www.PSLBlvd.com), at the St. Lucie Transportation Planning Organization office located at 466 SW Port St. Lucie Boulevard, Port St. Lucie, Florida 34953, and at the Port St. Lucie City Hall located at 121 SW Port St., Lucie Boulevard, Port St. Lucie, Florida 34984.

    Persons wishing to submit statements or other exhibits, in place of or in addition to oral statements, may do so at the Hearing or by sending them to Mr. Ray Holzweiss, P.E., FDOT Project Manager at 3400 West Commercial Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309 or at ray.holzweiss@dot.state.fl.us.
