    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Construction Industry Licensing Board has issued an order disposing of the petition for declaratory statement filed by Robert M. Solliday, Jr., Elite Mechanical Systems, LLC on July 21, 2015. The following is a summary of the agencys disposition of the petition:

    The Notice of Petition for Declaratory Statement was published in Volume 41, No. 53, of the March 18, 2015, Florida Administrative Register. The petition seeks a declaratory statement as to whether the words fuel oil and gasoline piping and tank and pump installation, except bulk storage plants in Section 489.105(3)(m), Florida Statutes, implies that a Plumbing Contractor License is sufficient to install diesel fuel piping and tanks, including the installation of the tank, filter, day-tanks, piping and pumps. The Board’s Order, filed on June 25, 2015, issues a declaratory statement that the words fuel oil and gasoline piping and tank and pump installation, except bulk storage plants in Section 489.105(3)(m), Florida Statutes, imply that a Plumbing Contractor License is sufficient to install diesel fuel piping and tanks, including the installation of the tank, filter, day-tanks, piping and pumps.
