64B5-17.013Proprietorship by Nondentists

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on July 12, 2019, the Board of Dentistry, received a petition for variance or waiver filed by David M. Rubin, DDS. The petitioner is seeking a variance or waiver of Rule 64B5-17.013(1), Florida Administrative Code, which states that no corporation, lay body, organization, or individual other than a licensed dentist or a professional corporation or limited liability company composed of dentists shall engage in the practice of dentistry through the means of engaging the services, upon a salary, commission, or other means of inducement, of any person licensed to practice dentistry in this state. The provisions of this rule are not applicable to dentists working under any of the settings described in Section 466.025, F.S.
