The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.
DATE AND TIME: August 18, 2015, 6:30 p.m.
PLACE: Grand Lake RV and Golf Resort, 545 NW 45th Ave. Rd., Citra, FL, located off Highway 318 just east of I-75 next to Ocala Jai Alai in Citra
GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: Many suggestions for management on Orange Lake are long-term issues that will require further discussion with stakeholder groups as part of Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission’s (FWC) Habitat Management Plan process. However there are some management actions that can be taken in the short term on Orange Lake in order to address some of the concerns that have been heard at previous meetings.
The purpose of this meeting is for FWC to propose potential management activities on Orange Lake for the next 12 months.
