    The Florida Department of Agriculture, Florida Forest Service announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

    DATE AND TIME: August 25, 2020, 1:00 p.m., Workshop Public Meeting - Belmore State Forest Management Plan Advisory Group

    Per Governor DeSantis’ Executive Order 20-69, requirements for an in-person meeting, as described in Chapter 259.032(8)(b), F.S., have been suspended, specifically allowing for virtual meetings to occur during the COVID-19 pandemic. Any persons unable to attend these public meetings virtually have the option to attend a locally-hosted, live-stream of the meeting at the UF/IFAS Clay County Extension Office, 2463 FL-16, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043. Any participants wishing to attend in person must adhere to all CDC social distancing guidelines, including the use of a facial covering while inside the meeting.

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: To allow the Belmore State Forest Management Plan Advisory Group to review comments from the public hearing and provide recommendations to the FFS to help in preparation of a management plan for the Belmore State Forest.
