Notice of Emergency Action
On July 23, 2019, the State Surgeon General issued an Order of Emergency Restriction with regard to the certification of Matthew J. Hooker, P.M.D., Certification # PMD 206049. This Emergency Restriction Order was predicated upon the State Surgeon General’s findings of an immediate and serious danger to the public health, safety and welfare pursuant to subsections 456.073(8) and 120.60(6) Florida Statutes (2019). The State Surgeon General determined that this summary procedure was fair under the circumstances, in that there was no other method available to adequately protect the public.
