The University of Florida, Purchasing Services will receive sealed bids for the following: ITB14MB-112, Sid Martin Chiller Replacement, estimated budget: $520,000.00 to be opened on Thursday, August 29th, 2013, at 2:00 p.m., at University of Florida, Purchasing Services, 971 Elmore Drive, 101 Elmore Hall Conference Room, Gainesville, FL. Scope of Work: The work includes: Demolition of existing and installation of two new water cooled chillers and one air cooled chiller. Replace associated piping, piping specialties and controls devices. Provide new refrigerant monitoring system, exhaust fan and controls graphics. Demolish existing electrical connections to existing chillers and provide power to all new mechanical equipment. Mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Monday, August 5th, 2013, at 10:00 a.m., at the Sid Martin Biotechnology Incubator, Bldg. 1041, Room 114, 12085 Research Drive, Alachua, FL 32615, Ph:(386)462-0880. Mandatory site visit to follow. It will be the sole responsibility of the attendees to allow sufficient time to ensure prompt attendance as doors will close at set time.
