PUBLIC NOTICE
A properly noticed meeting of the Citrus Research and Development Foundation, Inc., Advisory Council for the Citrus Marketing Order was held on June 15, 2016 at 9:30 a.m.. The Board of Directors by unanimous vote adopted a resolution to recommend continuation of the citrus box tax at the current assessment rate of three cents ($.03) per each standard packed box of citrus fruit for the season August 1, 2016 through July 31, 2017. In accordance with the Citrus Research Order and section 573.118, Florida Statutes, The Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services will continue the assessment rate at three cents ($.03) per each standard packed box of citrus fruit for the season August 1, 2016 through July 31, 2017.
